We are seeking experienced Service Attendants to join the Sodexo Oil and Gas Team on a full-time basis.

These Service Attendants positions will be FIFO from Darwin only.

About the job

Reporting to the Camp Boss you will support our Offshore operations by providing excellent service in your department of expertise. Shift work and rostered hours would be discussed at interview stage as this can vary between operations. The offshore industry comes with varied challenges and safety is the first priority.

Working offshore is a fantastic experience and Service Attendants roles are the 'backbone' of our facilities. They contribute extensively to the effective day to day operations and provide a service for customers ensuring that each experience is as close to a home away from home feeling.

As well as general customer service duties your job might be to prepare food, clean up a room, replenish stocks, or make sure that everyone has drinks and snacks. Service Attendants are there to help. They are responsible for making sure areas are clean and tidy and are often the representative of the company that will have the most interaction with the customer, therefore, you need to look neat, clean and presentable at all times.

About you

We are seeking multi-skilled individuals who embody the Sodexo core values of Service Spirit, Team Spirit and Spirit of Progress. You will be able to use initiative when necessary, have strong problem solving skills and the ability to adapt and implement change with ease. 

The position will suit a well organised and self-motivated individual who is able to listen to customer needs and provide expert service and communicate in a friendly manner, providing service with a smile. You are someone who is passionate about following strict hygiene practices and adhering to high safety standards and you possess a strong knowledge of manual handling techniques.

You will have experience in a similar role and will possess offshore qualifications, however previous offshore experience is not essential.
