Sodexo are looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to join our team based in our Regional Support Centre in Balcatta WA.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide accountancy support in our Oil & Gas segment.

About the Role:

You will be required to monitor accounts emails, invoice enquiries and liaise with suppliers and accounts payable with enquiries. Allocating and collecting of invoices which will come with a high level of data entry.

Working to deadlines for processing, scanning and submitting of weekly invoices including accounts reconciliations. You will also have variety and adaptability to assist with adhoc accounts and administrative duties as required by the Operations Manager and Accountant.

A pivotal part of this role will require you to build strong relationships with our clients, suppliers, operations and shared services team making sure you adher to Sodexo policies and procedures when dealing with confidential information and demonstrating 100% compliance.

From time to time site visits will be required.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable, experienced with General Ledger, Cost Centre and Journal Posting. An intermediate level of Microsoft Suites (including Word & Excel) and experience in Work Order management System would be highly desirable. Diligence and attention to details are of high importance in this role as well as a sense of urgency for meeting deadlines.

The position will suit an organised, motivated and driven accounts guru who loves working in closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, therefore, your ability to communicate effectively and build and develop strong working relationships is critical.
