Job Description

Sodexo are looking for a Building Maintenance Scheduler to join our team for a 6 month fixed-term contract based in our Regional Support Centre in Balcatta WA with occasional site visits as required.

The primary purpose of this role is to support the efficient delivery of maintenance activities through the provision of safe, cost effective and sustainable planned and predictive maintenance scheduling applied to a diverse range of infrastructure assets.

About the Role:

The Building Maintenance Scheduler is integral to the effective day to day operations of the business and oversees all planned maintenance across the portfolio. You will be required to review and update maintenance plans, execute weekly schedules and report on work in progress and develop action plans for the same. This role is also responsible for managing the development of preventative maintenance for identified components and assets. This includes identifying major replacement components, anticipating asset life expectancy from conducting asset condition surveys and keeping the component replacement schedule up to date, whilst also incorporating assets not covered under an appropriate maintenance plan.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will ideally have a Trade or an Engineering background with experience working in facilities maintenance and scheduling, ideally within a mining/production environment, although Graduates may be considered. Experience with a broad range of infrastructure assets is essential. You possess good knowledge of project standards, including document and records management and your ability to effectively manage financial, cost and expenditure, will contribute to your success in this role.

The position will suit an organised, motivated and driven individual and will see you working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, therefore, your ability to communicate effectively and build and develop strong working relationships is critical. You are someone who has experience in using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) as well as possessing excellent skills in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
