We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, friendly and hardworking Cook to join our team at our Aged Care site in Birkdale, Brisbane.

This is a casual role where you will be required to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 6.00 am - 2.00 pm.

During this time you will complete production cooking in addition to preparing deserts, morning team and sandwiches.  Over the weekend you will reheat main meals for the day in addition to preparing salads and sandwiches.

You will be responsible for:

Preparation, presentation and service in line with client contract and standards

Excellent customer service to clients and customers, including service during peak times

Maintenance and cleanliness of the kitchen and service area

Maintain a high standard of food hygiene and safety

Maintain appropriate stock levels and conduct regular stock takes

Developing strong relationships with the Client and Customers

Experience working as a qualified chef with various cuisines

Have strong customer service skills, continuous improvement focus & ability to work as part of a team

Demonstrated food preparation/presentation skills with creativity

Dedication and practices correct Food Safety, WHS and HACCP
