Job Description

1- Description of the Role

  1. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality compliance services to a number of clients of SOCOTEC
  2. Specialise in the high-quality delivery of at least two of the consultancy areas within SOCOTEC
  3. Exceed client expectations
  4. Responsible for ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with relevant instructions
  5. Comply with SOCOTEC’s group policies and procedures
  6. Clearly recognise the need to develop their professional skills
  7. Identify business opportunities for SOCOTEC and work closely with the Commercial team to develop these

Fulfil the role of Account Manager for assigned clients as determined by the Operations Manager

2 - Duties and Responsibilities

  1. To service the needs of SOCOTEC clients
  2. Deliver services within the timeframes dictated by the client and SOCOTEC. Ensure that the Operations Manager is made aware of aware of any problems with delivering to the deadlines
  3. To ensure that all documents are submitted to the office in a timely fashion
  4. Attend all Team Meetings held at Head Office
  5. To ensure that all client work delivered is of a high quality
  6. Ensure that any professional memberships are maintained. The Operations Manager will confirm which professional memberships are required and endorsed by the company
  7. To stand out as a good example to all staff
  8. To undertake such other responsibilities that might reasonably be required by the company
  9. To form part of the peer review team within SOCOTEC
  10. Ensure the highest standards of administration

3 - Health and Safety Responsibilities

 

  1. To comply with Socotec International and client quality, safety and environmental systems and procedures at all times.
  2. Ensure that all accidents, incidents, near misses or hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is completed.
  3. To work within the team to develop a culture where everyone embraces, upholds and accepts responsibility for a safe workplace, a healthy working life, a sustainable environment and the right and duty to intervene.

Qualifications

  1. NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5 or Degree in Health & Safety
  2. Five years’ experience in a similar role
  3. IOSH Graduate Membership
  4. Quodorat Membership
