We’re seeking a Learning Content Researcher and Developer like you who will further our ability to provide next-generation learning content and skills development to thousands of companies around the world.

They learn essential and foundational skills, as well as advanced and soft skills that are crucial in today’s changing workforce. The skills that SocialTalent focus on relate to all things hiring: from the day-to-day tasks and skills of recruiters, to the important skills of interviewing and evaluating candidates, to managing and retaining talent in organisations. Our platform is self-built, but the format of our learning is what makes it so compelling: short, bite-sized, video-based learning delivered by experts and thought leaders (and we don’t mean animated text and stock characters).
The responsibilities for this role include:
- You will be responsible for researching topics subjects related to the Employee Lifecycle (Hire to Retire) for the creation of e-learning content for professionals in the fields of HR/Talent Acquisition, People Managers and Senior Executives, and prepare eLearning content for filming - scripted courses that are both instructional and entertaining for professionals
- Find insight and bring a unique perspective to any topic you’re researching that makes your learning content memorable and even more interesting
- Produce resource documents, job aids or other learning tools to compliment your eLearning content for learners’ easy use (like summaries, notes, templates, role-plays, practice exercises etc)
Background experience and skills required for this role:
Our team of content writers and video producers all come from a variety of backgrounds, so we fully expect you to be different and have travelled your own path. However, as this is an experienced-level role, you will need demonstrable experience in:
Content development and research for the purposes of producing extensive learner-facing content (video, presentations, workbooks, classes etc.)
Human Resources (especially Talent Development or Leadership Development), as this is the field in which the majority of the content you’ll be developing will be focused on
Working to tight deadlines and delivering work to a high standard as part of an interdependent team
Aside from computer fluency, you’ll tick our boxes if you have:
An intense personal curiosity to learn new things, which drives your ability to research new topic areas and deliver amazing insight for your learners;
An interest in business, management and leadership, human resources, people development and/or strategy (as this will be your focus during work, and it may as well be in a topic you enjoy!)
SocialTalent took the decision in May 2020 to be a remote-first organisation, and run as a distributed team. Our offices at The Academy in Pearse Street, Dublin 2 are available as hot-desks if you wish to avail of them, however the vast majority of employees work from home or remotely.
To accommodate this, we will support you with a €500 fund to help you create an at-home workspace. We have learned a lot over the course of the Covid-19 lockdowns how to work successfully from home while retaining our culture and keeping relationships with colleagues as high-touch (so to speak) as possible, and we can't wait to onboard you to the business and show you how.
