We are working with some of the world’s leading brands to transform their hiring capability and achieve hiring excellence across their hiring teams. We will be driving our Enterprise solution to new and existing customers, focusing on becoming their hiring skills platform, from Sourcers, Recruiters and HRBP’s to Hiring Managers and Leaders.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will manage our team of Account Managers working with our Customer Success team to ensure that our customers have the optimal experience of our platform, see it’s long term value and ensure we are positioned as strategic partners. All of which is a fancy way of saying they will spend the same or more next year! Preferably more!!
We have landed some great new customers in 2019 including IBM and IKEA and as a result our sales team is expanding creating the need for an experienced Sales Manager who can lead an experienced team of strategic account managers.
About the Role
Pillar 1: Develop and lead a brilliant team
Our account management team is a critical part of our business. They help support growing and retaining our top clients. We’ve had a busy year attracting amazing new logos and we need you to come on board to help grow our Account Management team and lead them to future success. As a People Leader, you will be the line manager to an existing team of 5, and will have, as our book of business grows, budget and authority to hire additional team members who will deliver the strategy you set. You will be responsible for nurturing and developing the team through formal and informal coaching, priority-setting and ideation/creative design activities.
Pillar 2: Sales Management and Growth
Ideally, you’re coming to us with strong experience in sales team leadership, pipeline management and a proven ability to motivate, drive sales teams and hit targets. Your background shows that you have proven ability to achieve and exceed on your teams sales target and you are comfortable representing the company in front of all of our clients. Pillar 3: Execute the strategy
You will wear two hats - both guiding and developing strategy and then working on the execution. Reporting directly into the Sales Director - you will be responsible for looking at strategic initiatives to implement throughout 2020 and beyond to help us scale.
Core Skills and Knowledge:
Proven track record of creating, driving and delivering upon strategic account plans
You’ve got the usual sales skills under your belt - executing sales strategy, pipeline management, expert negotiating and closing skills
You’re analytical and are comfortable conducting weekly forecast meeting, reporting on sales activities and accurately forecasting to senior management.
Ideally SaaS or Recruitment industry has been your focus for some time now and you have a proven track record in managing relationships with large multinational clients.
Previous experience in Account management, expansion and retention is vital. This role is all about supporting the team in nurturing clients and helping them recognise maximum value from our solution.
Relationship management internally - you will need to partner directly with the customer success team and the product team to help support your teams book of business.
Ultimately, we expect you to come in and add value through supporting the current team, so we’d love you to be able to talk to us about how you’ve helped grow teams - both in size and in revenue generated.
