Job Description

The Legal Business Development Manager is responsible for creating new Law Firm relationships and contracting project work from both new and existing clients. The role will seek to build relationships with senior management within Law Firms and identify opportunities to sell SMI Products. This position reports to the CEO.

Qualifications

  • Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

  • Create strong presentations in PowerPoint.

  • Manage Agile CRM.

  • Operate Webinars using GoToMeeting.

  • Possess effective organization skills and be detail-oriented.

  • Receive guidance from management and develop plan of action.

Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Identifying opportunities for new business.

  • Signing up new accounts.

  • Consulting relative to SMI products and project work.

  • Travel and attending meetings and conferences. 

  • Schedule presentations with new potential clients.

  • Cold calling and sourcing opportunities.

Experience:
  • Prior legal sales experience is required.
