Job Description

As a Key Account Manager Hämatologie-Immunology, you will play an important role in maximizing the impact of our brands across your territory. You will build trusted relationships with key customers and stakeholders, develop strategic account plans and translate customer insights into meaningful actions that support our business goals and, ultimately, patients.

Working closely with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Medical, Patient Access and other functions, you will bring together market knowledge, customer needs and business priorities. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your territory, identify new opportunities and continuously adapt your approach in a dynamic rare disease environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account and customer engagement plans to achieve agreed sales targets and business objectives.
  • Build a strong understanding of your territory, market dynamics and customer needs, using insights from customer interactions and relevant data.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals and other relevant stakeholders across prescribing centres.
  • Identify market opportunities and translate customer and market insights into effective, locally relevant activities in collaboration with the wider team.
  • Coordinate customer engagement activities and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a consistent and valuable customer experience.
  • Monitor sales performance, activities and investment, using data and insights to adjust plans and priorities where needed.
  • Share customer insights and best practices with colleagues and contribute actively to the development and execution of brand strategies.

 

Qualifications

About you

You are a customer-focused and entrepreneurial professional who enjoys taking ownership and turning insights into action. You build authentic, long-term relationships and are comfortable engaging with a wide range of healthcare stakeholders. You combine a confident and convincing communication style with curiosity, analytical thinking and a willingness to challenge existing approaches.

You enjoy working collaboratively in cross-functional teams while also being able to manage your territory independently. You are flexible, adaptable and motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a rare disease environment.

Your background

Required:

  • Training as a pharmaceutical sales representative or an equivalent qualification 
  • Proven sales experience and a good understanding of the healthcare market.
  • Strong customer orientation, service mindset and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience using MS Office and CRM systems, together with confidence using alternative communication channels and omnichannel approaches.
  • Strong initiative, analytical thinking and strategic account-management skills.
  • A confident, professional and convincing communication style.
  • High willingness to travel and a Class B driver's license.
  • Residence within the travel region: Dortmund, Hagen, Bochum, Essen, Düsseldorf, Kleve or Mönchengladbach.
