Job Description
About the role
As Indirect Sourcing Manager, you will join the Spend Coach team within Indirect Procurement and help colleagues across Sobi turn business needs into smart, compliant and cost-efficient purchasing solutions. You will be involved in a wide range of sourcing activities, from reviewing supplier bids and supporting supplier selection to negotiations, contracting and stakeholder guidance. You will be exposed to a variety of requests, different business areas and stakeholders across functions and geographies. Some assignments are quick and straightforward, while others involve larger tenders over several weeks or months, creating a role with both pace and variety.
This is a Hybrid role, joining a team located at our Headquarter in Stockholm. You will report to our Head of Indirect Procurement.
What you will do
- Support internal stakeholders throughout the procurement process, helping them make timely, cost-efficient and compliant purchasing decisions.
- Scope, evaluate and analyse supplier quotes, bids and sourcing options to identify the best way forward.
- Prepare and conduct supplier negotiations using a structured, best-practice approach.
- Perform cost, scenario and benchmark analyses to identify savings and optimisation opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across functions and geographies, including Finance and Legal.
- Drive continuous improvements across the Source-to-Pay process, policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with P2P processes, including purchase order creation and follow-up.
- Prepare monthly reports, monitor KPIs and maintain agreements in the contract management system.
- Contribute to team learning, onboarding and the continued development of procurement ways of working.
Qualifications
About you
You are analytical, structured and proactive, with the confidence to work independently while building strong relationships across the organisation. You enjoy creating clarity, moving things forward and finding practical solutions that balance business needs, compliance and cost efficiency. You are comfortable working with many stakeholders at once and bring a collaborative, service-minded approach to everything you do.
What you bring
- At least two years’ experience from finance, purchasing, procurement or a similar commercial role.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure and interpret data in a time-efficient way.
- Experience with negotiations and a good understanding of agreements, including commercial and legal terms.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders, preferably across countries, functions or business areas.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to engage with colleagues at different levels of the organisation.
- Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with ERP systems such as IFS or similar.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
