Job Description
Ensure successful and timely market access strategies for Sobi’s pipeline and launch products in Germany with a focus on integrated access planning, policy shaping, and sustainable patient access.
This encompasses the strategic and operational preparation, execution, and follow-up of AMNOG processes, including price negotiations with the GKV-SV, to enable early and sustainable patient access to Sobi’s therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage and coordinate AMNOG processes including dossier preparation, G-BA benefit assessments, and price negotiations with the GKV-SV.
- Develop and implement dossier and negotiation strategies in close collaboration with cross-functional teams (Medical, HEOR, Regulatory, Marketing).
- Prepare and lead (early) G-BA consultations, written statements, and oral hearings.
- Analyze the German pricing, reimbursement, and health policy environment including competitive intelligence, to derive strategic recommendations for pipeline and launch products.
- Develop pricing strategies and business cases considering clinical value, competitive landscape, and health policy framework, ensuring alignment with senior management.
- Shape and articulate value propositions and health economic arguments to support pricing, reimbursement, and negotiations strategies.
- Closely align with global and regional Market Access, Medical, and Commercial teams to ensure consistent strategies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Market Access excellence within the DACH team through best practice sharing and process optimization.
- Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders (e.g., G-BA, GKV-SV, scientific associations, patient advocacy groups).
- Select, manage, and guide external agencies and consultants, building trust-based partnerships to ensure high-quality deliverables, effective collaboration, and alignment with Sobi’s strategic Market Access objectives.
- Support the development of stakeholder engagement plans in the context of AMNOG and pricing negotiations.
- Continuously monitor and analyze the health policy and AMNOG regulatory environment, assess potential impacts on Sobi’s portfolio, and proactively inform strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate clinical development programs to anticipate and shape future market access and evidence requirements in Germany and EU (EU-HTA).
Qualifications
- University degree (health) economics, pharmaceutical, health care management, natural science (biochemistry, biology…) or similar
- 5 to 8 years of biotech/pharmaceutical/consulting experience in a reimbursement/market access related role
- Experiences in medical writing, ideally in the market access area, ideally combined with experiences in clinical data design and interpretation, HTA, epidemiology and statistic
- Deep knowledge of the market access environment and health care system in Germany, specifically AMNOG regulation and reimbursement pathways
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams under time pressure and with senior management attention
- Very good communication skills (oral and writing) in both German and English and experienced in communicating complex information to target groups or local and Global management
- strong skills in Microsoft office, especially Excel and Powerpoint, and presentations
- Rigorous, organized and respecting timelines and deadlines along with flexibility in changing priorities
- Strong analytical and project/team management skills, innovative thinking and problem solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team
