    Job Description

    As Brand Manager, you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing programs for our nephrology and hematology brands in Belgium. You will drive omnichannel brand strategies, leveraging digital tools and analytics to maximize impact, while working independently and collaboratively across functions. Your role is pivotal in ensuring Sobi’s continued growth and leadership in rare diseases.

    Key Responsibilities

    Brand Strategy & Execution

    • Develop, adapt, and implement local marketing strategies and tactics in line with the Global Brand Plan, tailored to the Belgian market.
    • Lead the cross-functional brand team to identify business opportunities, customer insights, and innovative solutions.
    • Localize global key messages and promotional tools for impactful omnichannel communication, ensuring compliance with Belgian regulations.
    • Plan and execute product launches, campaigns, and congresses, supporting the sales team with digital and traditional materials.

    Digital & Analytical Excellence

    • integrate digital channels (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce, social media, analytics platforms) with the help of the digital marketeer into brand plans.
    • Analyze market trends, sales data, and customer insights to inform strategy and optimize performance (ROI, KPIs).
    • Use customer insights next to data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.

    Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (healthcare professionals, patient organizations, KOLs, internal teams).
    • Collaborate with Commercial, Medical, Patient Access, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment and excellence in execution.
    • Support implementation of key-messages in coordination with the Business Lead and the KAMs.

    Independent & Entrepreneurial Working

    • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, demonstrating initiative, ownership, and a solution-oriented mindset.
    • Manage projects independently, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
    • Embrace ambiguity and change, adapting strategies as needed to achieve business goals.

    Compliance & Reporting

    • Ensure all activities comply with Sobi policies, SOPs, and Belgian pharmaceutical regulations.
    • Monitor and report on brand performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

    Qualifications

     

    • Higher degree (bachelor or higher) in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, or Business
    • Ability to process, interpret, and translate complex medical and scientific information into actionable insights.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical brand management, ideally in rare diseases and nephrology, experience in hematology is a plus.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch and French is a strong asset.
    • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), AI applications, Teams, and digital marketing platforms.
