Job Description
We are seeking a Key Account Manager based in Emilia Romagna or Marche to drive strategic engagement and long-term partnerships across priority hospital and regional accounts. Working closely with the BU Director/NSM and Marketing, you will build and execute account plans, deliver compliant scientific information to HCPs, capture and report insights on product use and safety, and coordinate cross-functional resources to achieve territory objectives.
In this role you will:
- Constantly monitor the area of his/her supervisor about the use of drugs and about adverse events reported by healthcare professionals in accordance with the current law requirements.
- In collaboration with the Business Unit Director/NSM and Marketing define local activities and steps necessary to reach the objectives in his/her area of competence.
- Ensure the activity of medical information towards the Health Care Practitioners according to a plan agreed with his/her supervisor and in compliance with the company's strategy, with the company's policies and with current regulations.
- Improve his/her own knowledge on the therapeutic area of his/her competence though the participation in meeting. refresher courses and self-learning.
- Organize and plan his/her own activities (visits, itineraries, meeting) and, on a regular basis, report to his/her NSM using the available informatics tools.
- Apply and respect legislative and company requirements concerning drug scientific information, drug safety and ethical code. In case of problems, act appropriately and inform his/her supervisor.
- Participate in the National Congresses alone and together with clients. Responsible for creating visits/activities with local stakeholders that consider long-term goals.
- Certification in account management, sales, or healthcare-related programs.
- Professional training in hemophilia care or rare disease management.
- CRM system activities reporting as per planned deadlines along the year/cycles.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in life sciences (e.g., biology, biochemistry, pharmacy) or healthcare-related fields.
- Industry Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare sector.
- Prior experience in rare diseases or hematology is highly preferred.
- Sales and Commercial Experience: Proven track record in achieving sales targets, tender management, and market development.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong ability to communicate complex medical information to diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills for engaging with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders).
- Problem-Solving:
- Proactive approach to identifying customer needs and offering tailored solution
