Job Description

The IT department, a part of IS/IT, are responsible for architecture, strategy, maintenance and support of SOBIs Microsoft platforms, infrastructure such as clients, servers, network. The IT department consist of five teams – Infrastructure, Service desk, IT security, Digital Workplace & AI and Automation & Integration. IT work according to Sobi’s quality framework based on ITIL.

As a Digital Workplace IT Operations Manager for Device and Applications you will work in our Microsoft cloud environment. Managing devices and applications in our Windows client and iOS environment, to ensure security, compliance, and productivity. You will enroll and configure devices in Intune, deploy and update applications, monitor health and performance and troubleshoot issues across Windows and iOS.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ownership of key elements in the Digital Workplace team’s responsibility
  • Lead and coordinate Service requests, Changes and roadmap activities within your area
  • Manage and coordinate Digital Workplace incidents in ServiceNow
  • Suggest and deliver continuous improvement regarding the individuals appointed systems/products/solutions with a focus on identifying opportunities for process improvement
  • Support in managing and coordinating training of ServiceDesk and other departments of Sobi regarding the individuals appointed systems/products/solutions
  • Serve as SME for the Digital Workplace & AI, including, but not limited to device management, Intune, RoboPack, applications and trainings
  • Application and OS Lifecycle management (Intunes/RoboPack/Windows Autopatch), Apple device/Phone OS and Application Lifecycle Management (Intune/Apple Business Manager)
  • Knowledge sharing inside the Team to build a stronger resilience, to protect against interruptions in our delivery

Qualifications

  • Relevant education within IT or equivalent practical experience
  • Previous experience of working as a part of a device team in a Microsoft cloud environment (Intune), ability to create and package applications and configurations in Intune, good knowledge in trouble shooting Windows OS, Windows application and iOS application, good knowledge in Microsoft Autopilot and Autopatch, basic to intermediate PowerShell scripting.
  • Previous experience of application management in Robopack, or similar solution
  • Ideally, intermediate knowledge about security and compliance related to device management in a global company setting.
  • Team player, flexible and adoptable. Pro-active and solution oriented.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
