The Cypress Automation Test Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Cypress to ensure the quality and performance of web applications.

• Implement Cypress best practices, including custom commands, fixtures, and reusable components.

• Integrate Cypress tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).

• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA, and collaborate with developers to resolve them.

• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation reports.

• Perform cross-browser and responsive testing to ensure consistent user experiences.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in automation testing for web applications.

• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress.io (JavaScript or TypeScript).

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and DOM structure.
