Job Description

Solna-based hybrid role (2 days at the office):

We are now looking for a Senior QA automation engineer for our product development teams to improve our agile testing, nurture top quality, and work hands-on with system testing. All our teams are cross-functional meaning developers and testers work closely together to ensure high product quality.

In this role you will perform exploratory testing with your colleagues, identify test cases and implement automated testing of the products. You will also participate in identifying and implementing QA best practices into our development and release processes to support our high-quality ambitions.

As the successful candidate, you will be an experienced quality assurance engineer who is passionate about ensuring that a product will delight the user. You should strive to understand how the product is used and use that knowledge to uncover problems before they make their way to the end user. You are excited to contribute at design time, knowing that the earlier in the process we uncover problems, the cheaper they are to fix.

Qualifications

Core Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of software testing and test design in C# and Java
  • Analyze and improve our approach to testing within your team - testing, tooling and use of metrics
  • Ensuring test automation software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility
  • Experience in REST, Database, EventBus layers automation 
  • Continuous integration and delivery pipelines and their integration with test automation framework
  • Docker-compose syntax for local test environment launching

Experience with the following would be a definite asset:

  • Scripting languages such as Groovy, Bash
  • Experience with REST Assured / RestSharp
  • Experience with performance testing (k6)
  • Familiar with Kubernetes
  • Familiar with CircleCi/GitHub Actions
