Job Description

Snow is looking for an Associate Product Manager for our SaaS Management product. We’re seeking an individual who gathers insights from market and customer conversations to identify and prioritize market problems and use cases, and partners with engineering to orchestrate a high confidence roadmap. In this role you will also collaborate with other functions including SRE, product marketing, customer success, sales, finance as well as other product managers to drive the success of your product 

Key accountabilities and decision ownership: 

  • Understand customer, competitive, and market needs to discover and prioritize use cases and requirements and share those with engineering and other stakeholders.  

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap for your product.  

  • Maintain and prioritize the backlog, and work with engineering, architecture and UX in detailing and refining initiatives, epics, and stories.  

  • With engineering leadership own sprint planning (and help set the sprint goals and the stories needed to achieve those goals), sprint reviews, and retrospectives.  

  • Follow up on releases, post release feedback, and feature success.  

  • Support pre-sales and post-sales situations when needed.  

Qualifications

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:  

  • Previous experience working in a product driven organization as a product manager, UX designer, engineer, data scientist or user researcher  

  • Great understanding of modern product discovery and delivery methods  

  • Experience with agile product development  

  • Strong understanding of customer/stakeholder relationships, business analysis, requirements documentation, prioritization, and estimation.  

  • Outstanding collaboration, presentation, and leadership skills 

  • Experience working with engineering and other cross-functional teams 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.  

  • Great team player 

Nice to have: 

  • Understanding of the ITIL framework. 

  • Prince 2 or Equivalent  

  • Experience with Confluence and Jira tooling
