We are now looking for an experienced front-end architect that can help guide and lead our strategy for front end including technology, architecture, design and our common user interfaces for new and existing products. Help us ensure the success of Snow UX strategy by providing technical guidance and implementation patterns. Be a part of the technical design group which evolves and implement the architectural direction and strategies within Snow.

In this role you are expected to set the technical direction and lead technical development across Snow engineering teams regarding the front-end technologies, patterns and design elements used. Also, this role is about sharing knowledge and coaching engineers and teams in relevant technical matters.

Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with Chief Architect, Principal Engineers, UX, Engineering Development teams and Design System teams regarding front-end, architecture, design and implementation.
• Develop & implement strategies for consistent, secure and performant user interfaces developed by independent teams on a common platform.
• Develop & implement strategies for front-end tooling, automation and reusable patterns across engineering teams.
• Guide development, and curation and ways of working for our Design System
• Mentor and provide guidance for application teams, UX/UI & component designers
• Be a design system steward and advocate

Core Qualifications:

• Experienced with modern front-end architecture, patterns, and technologies 
• Experience building complex applications with React 
• Testing strategies for React apps & design system components  
• API Contract Design 

Desirable Qualifications:

• Secure coding including OWASP Top 10 
• Experience with Web Accessibility and Usability (WCAG 2)
