What we don’t care about for this role:  

  • What kind of degree you have (or if you have one). We are looking for intelligent, curious and motivated individuals with a clear track record of learning new technology quickly and mastering technical subjects, and we recognize there are multiple ways to fulfill that requirement.  

  • Where you sit. This opportunity will need to support customers and prospects in the US Eastern time zone and requires a strong home internet connection. Aside from that, this job can be done from just about anywhere in the United States.  

  • Where your experience comes from:  As the “senior” in the title implies, the strongest applicants for this opening will bring credibility and knowledge from past experience, along with a high caliber of professionalism and business acumen. Perhaps you’re an experienced presales professional looking to break into an exciting new space. Or maybe your background is in professional services or implementation, delivering solutions and expertise in IT asset management.  Perhaps you’re a former administrator or super-user of our software who can speak firsthand to the impact it has.  We don’t care how you got your experience, but we are seeking 5+ years of combined experience in presales and/or the ITAM industry.  

 

Qualifications

  • Expert communication and presentation skills, in-person, in writing and on video.

  • 5+ years of combined experience in presales and/or the ITAM industry  

What we expect from our Solution Consultants at Snow:  

  • Own securing the “technical win”, where the customer agrees that the proposed solution will meet their requirements. This may include demonstrations, technical discussions, testing, trials and/or proof-of-concept validation.    

  • Collaborate as a key partner and advisor to your aligned selling team, helping to identify risk, remove barriers and grow opportunities to increase win rates, drive revenue predictability, and exceed targets.  

  • Maintain generalist and expert-level knowledge of all our solutions.  Augment product training and enablement with self-driven learning, stay up to date on new releases, interact with product and engineering teams, and share found knowledge with peers.    

  • Create value for our customers, not only after they implement Snow solutions but in every interaction we have.  Conduct technical and business discovery, articulate what they are trying to accomplish and why, and guide them in developing a comprehensive strategy to achieve their desired outcomes through Snow solutions.   

  • Serve as the voice of the customer and the product to internal stakeholders, including sales, product, services, customer success, and executive leadership.  

  • Safeguard Snow’s reputation and our customers’ success through accurate representation of the software capabilities and suitability to requirements.
