Job Description

Role Purpose

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Communications Manager, the Communications Specialist will support the Snow global PR program, and with the help of leadership, internal stakeholders, and subject matter experts, will help manage media inquiries, arrange interviews, develop holding statements, write media materials, etc.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

  • Develop, write and edit communications materials, including press releases, blog posts and bylines
  • Track analytics and create reports detailing successes and failures of communications campaigns
  • Respond to media inquiries (sourced by our agencies), coordinating with internal stakeholders to craft responses to meet reporter deadlines
  • Partnering with our agencies, submit Snow for awards and speaking opportunities
  • Support the Snow analyst relations program with content development and coordinating briefings/prep meeting

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

  • Minimum 4 years of PR or corporate communications (agency experience preferred)
  • Experience and knowledge in copywriting, proofreading and editing
  • Superior communication and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented and able to work in a collaborative environment
  • Strong project management and analytical skills 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations or similar field
