Job Description

As part of the Brand & Communications team, the Content Marketing Manager owns the global content program and strategy.  With the help of leadership, internal stakeholders, and subject matter experts, you will develop content that builds our brand, attracts an audience, converts prospects and engages customers. You are a storyteller with impeccable writing and editing skills. You are also very comfortable with technical topics and excited to help us build a new category. This is a highly visible position that will involve close collaboration with stakeholders in Global Campaigns, Field Marketing, Product Marketing and Management, Customer Success and Sales around the world.  

This role can be based anywhere remote in US

 

Responsibilities

 

· With Brand & Communications senior leadership, as well as other marketing leaders, develop a cohesive content strategy and editorial calendar that aligns to larger awareness, preference, and pipeline goals 

·Develop a deep understanding of our audience to align content with key topics and trends

·Create and maintain the corporate editorial calendar, coordinating editorial direction and topics with product launches, demand campaigns and media opportunities

·Manage blog content strategy, turning it into a relevant, compelling industry publication and the primary thought leadership hub for Snow

·Keep a consistent content engine running and in sync across the marketing organization, creating content yourself as well as collaborating with internal stakeholders and external resources to achieve scale

·Working with our content editor, enable the broader marketing team to develop content that is aligned to our brand platform, tone and voice

·Develop content topics and campaigns for the company, which are then distributed over the company’s website and social media profiles

·Writing ad copy for organic/paid social, web, blog, long and short form marketing collateral as well as sales enablement. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of previous content marketing experience, gained in B2B technology marketing, PR or journalism
  • Exceptional content creation and copyediting skills, with a clear and concise writing style
  • A strategic thinker who is also an enthusiastic practitioner 
  • Strong project management and analytical skills 
  • Knowledge of online marketing and digital best practices
  • Understanding of SEO keywords, their application and analysis
  • Highly collaborative and a team player, always looking for the win-win opportunity
  • Comfortable managing a global program that spans multiple regions and time zones 
  • Knowledge of digital marketing software, tools, and methods with a focus on content and SEO
