Job Description

Snow Software is looking for a highly motivated lawyer to assist our business teams across a variety of practice areas, including technology transactions, compliance, and dispute resolution.

The position will report to the Deputy General Counsel and will be based in the United Kingdom, with an option to either work remotely or from Snow Software’s Bracknell office.  Occasional travel to the United States may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, channel partner, and professional services agreements.
  • Advise business teams on applicable laws and regulations.
  • Revise and maintain legal templates and assist with process improvement initiatives for scalability.
  • Work with outside counsel on dispute resolution initiatives and assist with litigation management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer support, product, engineering, finance, and other departments at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Assist with special projects including M&A, financing, and strategic alliances.

Qualifications

  • Solicitor or Barrister with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience (qualified to practice law in England and Wales).
  • Relevant experience either in private practice with a top national firm or in-house.
  • Proficiency in managing matters that span several jurisdictions is preferred.
  • Expertise in technology transactions and licensing contracts.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Great judgment even in ambiguous situations.
  • Working knowledge of GDPR and privacy laws.
