Job Description

What you’ll be doing

There are three core elements of the BDR role:

  1. Build rapport with contacts by offering resources (webinar invitations, white papers, relevant blog articles, etc.) and understanding where the prospect is in the buying process
  2. Gather key information to update the CRM system and assign a nurture path and follow-up strategy
  3. Identify opportunities that meet a minimum qualification criteria (BANT) for the sales team

Qualifications

What we require from you

  • Transform Marketing Qualified Leads to Sales Qualified Leads, by educating, and challenging prospective buyers; not selling
  • Update SFDC and SalesLoft to reflect current lead status
  • Take live chats and phone calls & follow-up via phone & email on leads from web, events, email campaigns, etc.; ask for referral
  • Schedule intro meetings w/potential buyers & AE for qualified opportunities
  • Create opportunities in CRM system
  • Search internal & external subscription databases, LinkedIn, etc. for additional key contacts within existing companies
  • Three years in a professional sales role preferred
  • BA/BS degree preferred
