Job Description

The primary focus for this role will be go-to-market planning and execution for Snow’s recently acquired cloud management platform. Snow’s Product Marketing organization brings new products to market, owns strategic pricing, creates compelling product messaging and helps tell our product story through collateral such as E-books, whitepapers, blogs, videos, and more. 

The ideal candidate finds it easy to translate technical concepts into easy-to-consume content for readers, is open to hosting webinars/podcasts and serving as a technical Subject Matter Expert. Success in role is measured by how effective the go-to-market and sales enablement plan built by the Product Marketing Manager works to hit expected product line targets. 

  • Design content – including messaging, podcasts, eBooks, videos, and webcasts – that speaks to the Infrastructure and Operations leader and generates traction within our demand generation channels 

  • Partner with Snow’s Solutions Consultant and Product Management organizations to translate technical concepts and opportunities into content-focused campaigns that help accelerate Snow’s pipeline 

  • Promote new product launches and identify new ways to drive engagement for existing product lines 

  • Drive thought leadership and awareness for Snow’s Cloud Management group 

  • Work closely across Sales, Marketing and Product Management to identify opportunities to drive Sales Plays within Snow’s existing customer base 

  • Meet regularly with Snow customers and translate insights gleaned into messaging, new content and feedback loops into the product development process 

  • Drive adoption of Snow Commander within install base and partner channel. 

Qualifications

Core competencies, knowledge and experience: 

  • Experience in VMware, public cloud or with Managed Services Providers. 

  • Ability to present complex topics in simple, compelling, innovative and differentiated terms to internal and external stakeholders 

  • Ability to work with and provide feedback to creative and technical team members 

  • Ability to translate market and competitive insights into actionable intelligence 

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

  • B2B Product Marketing experience in Cloud, Security or SaaS - Experience working with a SaaS solution preferred but not required 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or Engineering; MBA preferred 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and collaborate cross-functionally 

  • Experience supporting content creation efforts across the customer lifecycle, beginning with their buying journey and continuing throughout their customer journey at Snow
