Today we are in the middle of an exciting journey of transforming our market-leading products into a cloud-native microservices platform deployed on a global scale and we are now looking for an extraordinary front-end developer to be a part of that journey.   

As a front-end developer at the Portal team, you will contribute to the frontend architecture, helping decide the roadmap for how we improve and develop our front-end platform. You will work in an agile team with fellow teammates, product owners and UX designers to build the best front-end framework that will ensure an integrated and consistent user experience as well as simplifying web frontend development that will enable other teams to deliver great products to the market. 

As a successful candidate, you will be an experienced front-end developer with at least four years of experience in the field and are passionate about the web and agile development. You explore and stay on top of the latest web development tools and technologies; you enjoy sharing what you know with other team members. You are proactive and have a high sense of ownership and quality. You are a communicative person that enjoys working closely together with your team.  

 You will be experienced in the following: 

• You have several years of frontend experience and knowledge with modern frontend technologies, with a preference towards React + Typescript. 
• Experienced in front-end testing frameworks such as Jest. 
• You write high-quality code that is easy to read, understand, and test. 

Bonus Skills and experience 

• Have a willingness to learn new technologies and programming languages when needed, for example, Go / Golang  
• Understanding of microservices in an event-driven architecture 
•  Experience with Agile practices (Pairing, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery). 
• Open-source technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Prometheus  
• GraphQL experience​
