Today we are in the middle of an exciting journey of transforming our market-leading products into cloud-native microservices platform deployed on a global scale and we are now looking for an extraordinary front-end lead developer to be a part of that journey.   

As a Senior Front End Developer at Snow, you will lead the frontend architecture, helping decide the roadmap for how we improve and develop our front-end platform. We believe you have at least five years of experience in the field and are passionate about web and agile development. You explore and stay on top of the latest web development tools and technologies, sharing what you know and coaching others in the team!  

You are proactive and have a high sense of ownership and quality. You are communicative and can listen to the needs of other teams to build the best front-end framework that will enable them to deliver great products to the market.  

As a successful candidate, you will be an experienced front-end developer.  You will be experienced in the following: 

• You have several years of front-end experience and knowledge of modern front-end technologies. 
• Experienced in JavaScript Frameworks with a preference towards React
•  Have a willingness to learn new technologies and programming languages when needed, for example, Go / Golang and Graph databases
•  Communicating and coordinating with other teams 

Bonus Skills and experience 

• Understanding of microservices in an event-driven architecture using .NET Core or Go / Golang 
• Open-source technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Prometheus  
• Graph database experience 
• GraphQL experience
