Job Description

To support the business daily through analytics and regular reporting in order to achieve company KPIs and to provide key insights/recommendations on business decisions

 

  • Lead business sessions – meet with C-suite executive and their leadership team with low to moderate supervision; influence decisions based on soft skills and data driven analysis
  • Monthly Close Reports – pre-close reviews with business and feedback loop to the AM teams and post-close delivery of analysis and commentary to budget owners on variances
  • Annual Plan – work with company leadership, FP&A leaders, and business to close annual plan for each functional group
  • Ad Hoc Analytics – work with each functional group on analyses and business cases as needed as well as working with FP&A leadership on special projects

  • Participate actively in the strategic decision-making process for his/her functional department
  • Deliver complete and detailed close packages by monthly deadlines
  • Complete analyses in a timely fashion and provide feedback to manager on help/coaching as needed

Qualifications

  • Highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills and good with time management
  • Strong ability to influence decisions through analytics and presentation
  • Standalone responsibility to lead presentations as needed and represent FP&A team in leadership meetings/decisions
  • Must have technical / professional qualifications:
  • 2-3 years experience in FP&A analyst role
  • Undergrad degree in Finance/Accounting/Math/Economics
