Job Description

To sustain our explosive growth and deliver on our customer promise, we are looking for a Global Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in the payroll function, a key global business partner, and a critical member of the payroll team for our move to a new global payroll partner.

End-to-end payroll processing for a variety of countries globally and currently with several different payroll providers, each with their own complexities. Countries in scope but not limited to are Sweden, UK, US, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, and Australia.

  • Payroll data analysis and submission to external payroll providers with a focus on delivering accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Review and reconciliation of all payroll data.
  • Monthly payroll reconciliations and preparation of statistical data (headcount, starters, leavers, etc).  
  • Ownership of payroll corrections and adjustments in cooperation with third-party providers. Recalculations and payroll adjustments prepared as needed.  
  • Processing of salary and statutory payments in collaboration with Treasury to ensure adequate cash funding for all payroll transactions.
  • Completion of all payroll reporting and tax documentation in accordance with compliance regulations.
  • Partner with the Financial Accounting team to ensure accuracy on all payroll reconciliations and journals.
  • Maintaining accuracy and integrity on all employee data related to payroll.
  • Monthly completion of all payroll controls, documented approvals, and reporting requirements.
  • All queries from employees, business partners, and third parties managed and resolved within the payroll web-based ticketing portal. 
  • Comprehensive support for all payroll related audit requests
  • Continuous oversight on all country payroll legislation to ensure changes are communicated and actioned efficiently.
  • Payslip portal administration, year-end tax certificates, and close monitoring of payroll mailboxes.
  • Participation in new global payroll partner onboarding project.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in payroll operations
  • Experience in delivering payroll for a global business.
  • In-depth payroll legislation knowledge
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, relationship building, and teamwork
  • Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and able to work to strict deadlines
  • Focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced organization with flexible and changing priorities
