We are currently recruiting for a Cloud Evangelist to join our Product organization – this is a highly technical role, outwardly facing customers at C level in critical engagements. You will be the our expert with regards to go-to-market expertise and content around cloud technology, working closely with Marketing for content and working with the sales organisation on any critical customer meetings they may need assistance with.  You will work on producing content, writing white papers, technical blogs and reference architectures, as well as creating podcasts and webinars, supporting field engagement when required, and representing Snow at conferences, speaking about our solutions and vision.

This is a high impact position with responsibilities including supporting strategic sales opportunities with account teams, closely following industry trends and direction to support Snow’s go-to-market activities. You will take a lead role as one of our thought leading technical experts evangelizing Snow solutions with customers, at industry conferences, trade-shows and with industry press and analysts, developing white papers and delivering webinars to support marketing campaigns.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support marketing with content around cloud – owning technical blogs, podcasts, technical white papers, the creation of reference architectures. Represent Snow at conferences.
  • Support field engagement – presales (late stage activities only), renewals, expansion opportunities, etc.
  • Support on select partner conversations as required

Qualifications

Who you are:

This is a highly technical role, so as the successful candidate you will be highly experience in cloud technologies, particularly around Cloud Management, Cloud Native and Automation. You will be outwardly facing, with proven customer facing capabilities, possibly from a Solution Consultant / Presales / Sales Engineer background, or Technical Product Management.  Either way, you will be accustomed to writing technical documentation, white papers, and presenting to senior stakeholders.

Your background will include:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in Cloud Management, Cloud Native, and Automation technologies
  • Customer facing experience up to C level
  • Strong experience in producing technical documentation and marketing content, such as white papers and blogs
