We are currently recruiting for an IT Financial Systems Analyst to join our Data Science & Insight team – this role can be base anywhere in the US or Canada, working remotely, with very occasional travel to our offices as required. Essentially working as a Data Analyst to enhance and support data quality and architecture and make improvements to the data flow, you will be responsible for providing key data driven analytical support to the global organization, working with key stakeholders and IT to improve performance of our SaaS based financial applications.

Responsibilities:

• Work as the lead analyst to enhance and support the Financial Systems and associated reporting.
• Identify and develop improvements based on process and system performance.
• Maintain effective operational relationships with user communities, interpret requirements, and create solutions in combination with other team members.
• Maintain the technical integrity, access and security of Finance Systems.
• Create and maintain documentation relating to systems and best practice.

Who you are:

This is a real hybrid position – as the successful candidate you will have an understanding of business processes and be able to work cross-functionally to resolve problems around business data and information.  You will be adept at building strong stakeholder relationships, and will have some experience working with financial information such as revenue and accounting principles. You will also have a strong technical and systems focus, with an eye on databases and information security.  Other strong technical skills will include:

The ideal candidate has the analytical skill set to review and understand financial datasets with the ability to address and improve quality through refinement of business process and/or systems integrations. They also have the technical skill set to remove barriers to data by extracting and transforming datasets from our variety of cloud/MS SQL Server or My SQL databases.  At a minimum a candidate must have the demonstrated attitude and willingness to learn and expand both of the aforementioned skill sets to achieve results in the Snow environment.”
