Job Description

Our ideal candidate excels at working with the leadership team to plan and execute enablement needs for the revenue organization.  This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all sales and partner personnel have the required knowledge, content, skills, processes, and behaviors to optimize every interaction with buyers. As a critical member of our sales and marketing team, this person will support revenue goals by creating onboarding and ongoing enablement content as we grow the team. This role will be responsible for coordinating enablement and creating content.

Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer

You will:

  • Responsible for resource management, performance management, hiring, and mentorship with the goal of building and managing a world-class enablement team.
  • Ensure the teams are structured for both proactive and reactive support to customers, prospects, and partners both internal and external.
  • Provide direction and strategy to Revenue Leadership to ensure operational excellence.
  • Work with leadership to ensure teams are optimized to meet rapidly evolving business needs.
  • Perform analysis and create tracking mechanisms to assess the impact of Enablement organizations.
  • Perform analysis and communicate Enablement initiatives to increase and maintain performance.
  • Build a training program to ensure Snow’s revenue team remains best in class - this includes all revenue roles (Sales, Pre-Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing, and all associated leadership).
  • Build and foster a culture of alignment between revenue leadership.
  • Build and maintain a content strategy that includes building and deploying.
  • Identify content gaps and organize content with a content map for the company.
  • While leading the best practices function, you will:
    • You will support contract negotiations, revenue recognition, closing, executive presentations, financial modeling, return on investment, and value selling.
    • You will influence global sales teams (leaders and contributors) on groundbreaking sales methodologies such as contract structure, pricing, negotiation, overall attested sales methodologies while working closely with legal, and finance. 
    • Drive significant value for the sales force and act as an SME for corporate support organizations such as product management, legal, and finance. 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Led Enablement and Best Practices for an elite SaaS company operating at scale (at least a hundred reps)
  • Expert in Sales Enablement tooling and Sales Methodologies (MEDDPIC, etc)
  • Excellent people leader, able to hire, inspire, hold accountable, and develop an elite team
  • 5+ years’ experience building and running front line sales teams; ability to grow and scale upward with the company; second line management experience a plus 
  • 10+ years direct and channel selling experience to large enterprises 
  • Successful experience and very comfortable in the “C” suite with a track record of negotiating six and seven figure software licensing transactions—going on sales calls w/sales reps, running calls. 
  • Experience selling enterprise software 
  • Strong executive presence and polish with the ability to negotiate at the executive level 
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-growing, rapidly growing environment \
  • Bachelor’s Degree
