Job Description

Snow Software is seeking an Alliances Director that is responsible for named Alliances partner engagement, go to market strategy creation and execution, inclusive of bookings attainment. They will work effectively across all levels inside of Snow and partners, as well as collaborate strongly sales, marketing, product management and development, services, and training/enablement. 

responsibilties

  • Work closely with Snow executives and product management to identify priority Alliances partners based on market trends and targeted use cases. 
  • Collaborate with Alliances partners to stimulate interest and alignment with Snow
  • Develop and launch joint solutions with Alliances partners that drive significant customer value
  • Define and execute joint GTM plans with Alliances partners
  • Build and execute business Alliance partner business plans
  • Negotiate Alliance partner contracts
  • Facilitate and drive Snow and Alliance partner executive alignment
  • Formulate and drive industry thought leadership

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in an Alliances leadership role
  • Partner relationships with public cloud vendors (Azure, AWS, GCP), SAP, BMC and leading ITAM and security providers
  • Proven track record of growing a business in a competitive landscape
  • Proven expertise and success with partner field engagement, for high dollar transactions with significant services content.
  • Project and program management
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with partner executives to kickstart and grow new initiatives 
  • Outstanding and compelling communicator
  • Experience / training in solution selling frameworks
  • Comfortable and effective working in a dynamic and (sometimes) unstructured environment
  • Deep knowledge of partner business models
  • Strong experience and expertise leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams at all levels from individual contributors to executives
  • Intimate understanding of the broad software ecosystem and modern Cloud strategies around Software Development architectures, SaaS, etc.
  • Comfortable using data to make and support decisions at all levels.
  • Ideal location for this role is in Austin, TX or other major US city
  • Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent
