Job Description

Snow is looking for a Product Manager to join the global product management team, while working closely with our Cloud Management business unit in Ottawa, Canada. As Product Manager you play a critical role in defining great products that our cloud management customers will love! This includes high level of cross functional collaboration across Snow, as well as customers at all level – ensuring that we set the right priorities and deliver outcomes that drives real value for our customers. You will be driving the product roadmap by business cases and follow this through by customer centric ideation process in close cross functional collaboration with product marketing, product owners, UX design and research, development - towards final release, and uptake by users. You will also be responsible for providing cloud management thought leadership through engagement with analysts, partners, and internal stakeholders.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Accountable for strategic product leadership and product revenues
  • Work with customers in a pre and post sales fashion to help drive revenue, product adoption, and obtain product feedback
  • In conjunction with R&D, translation of roadmaps into detailed product definitions, and product requirement documents effectively prioritizing features and functionality to deliver the best possible value to the marketplace
  • Manage investment levels according to product lifecycle
  • Develop business cases for new products to create revenue by addressing key customer needs
  • Own and communicate product roadmap
  • Conduct competitor analysis and define winning strategies with Product Marketing
  • Evangelization of products including participation in pre-sales opportunities and QBR’s with key partners and customers

Qualifications

To succeed in this role you must have… 

  • 5+ years of successfully delivering both new products and major product updates as an enterprise software product manager
  • Experience with either cloud orchestration or cloud expense management solutions
  • Ability to inspire and motivate stakeholders through involvement and knowledge sharing
  • A clear understanding of the importance of embedding the voice of the customer into to all facets of the solution – from business case to final solution
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and persuasively across diverse audiences at Snow
  • Strong understanding of customer/stakeholder relationships, business analysis, requirements documentation, and prioritization
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

 

It's also nice if you have… 

  • Previous experience working in a Product Management role 
  • Experience working on value propositions with customers at strategic level
  • Knowledge and understanding of agile principles and values 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional product teams to define and implement solutions that improve the customer experience
