We are seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Quality who will lead improvements that increase the experienced quality of the Snow product portfolio and join the Engineering leadership team, based at our global head office in Solna. This role is not only a quality assurance role, but rather a bridge between Engineering and the rest of the company when it comes to matters on customer experience of quality.
This role will be responsible for:
Overall ownership of quality strategy and roadmap for Snow products
Transforming quality into everyone’s responsibility by integrating QA activities into development routines and processes.
Acting as a quality enabler for other business units, communicating and resolving their pain points between the Product and the rest of the organization
Introducing and actively engaging with various product quality metrics, KPIs and key results to drive the quality improvement.
Engaging with customers and partners on the topics of existing quality challenges, suggestions for improvements and communicating their feedback to relevant parts of the organization.
Identifying a need for and driving QA and security knowledge development and education via workshops, knowledge sharing sessions, inviting speakers and trainers.
We believe in the DevOps culture where high collaboration is key in an environment where all team members have shared responsibility for development, test, maintenance, and operations of our software. The software teams focuses heavily on the accountability and quality aspects of the development cycle where the developer of each service is responsible for ensuring that relevant monitoring, alerting and logging capabilities are built into the service and that automated test suites are continuously updated.

As the successful candidate you will be:
A seasoned leader who is experienced in driving change in Agile organizations and shifting the quality responsibilities to the “left” – from dedicated QA teams to end-to-end ownership within the dev team.
Having a track record of working on SaaS products that were successfully delivered to customers with a high level of quality.
Quality-minded technologist who is not afraid to get hands dirty in the code or architecture and can form the understanding of how the solution works from the technical perspective.
Have worked with, designed or architected a modern CI/CD flow that deploy daily or hourly.
Understand the challenges that come with the cloud-first applications in the development, release and customer experience areas.
Innovator and catalyst who can drive the ideas from the inception to the implementation.
Excited to work and lead in a horizontal organization with self-sufficient autonomous teams and have a high degree of freedom.
As an individual, you are curious and have a passion for technology and product development; you invest your energy in driving quality ownership within your teams and you are open and honest with strong communication skills (listing, teaching, questioning, and coaching).
Experience with leading or working in product security domain, penetration testing, security automation.
