Here at Snow Software we are currently seeking an Engineering Manager for our Data Intelligence Service Team, made up of developers and data analysts responsible for building and maintaining Snow Software’s world leading dataset used for application recognition software and hardware usage data enhancement.  As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a  strong team of data analysts, and enabling the team in their daily work, through ensuring the team has a clear view on where to go and by enabling individuals in their personal growth. You will be working closely with your team but also with other Engineering Managers on creating an environment based on trust and respect with constant learning and identifying and acting on improvements incorporated in the way of working.  

As the successful candidate you are a pragmatic person with an open and positive mindset, but also with an interest for the bigger picture and creating bridges between your team and other teams. We believe you thrive when your team succeeds. 

You are an experienced people manager, and may have a background in technology, electronics, chemistry or life sciences for example.  Whatever your background, you will be experienced in coaching individuals, enabling personal growth, and have an agile mindset, with the belief that the best solutions come when you work together.  You have a true interest in people and believe in enabling teams and individuals to be autonomous.

If you happen to have an understanding of software development and / or data centric businesses and solutions, that would be highly beneficial, but isn’t essential – the people skills here are the key.
