Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE

Reporting to the Head of Group Accounting, this interesting and varied role will be responsible for Financial Reporting and Accounting for a subset of Snow's subsidiaries. Based out of our Solna (Stockholm, Sweden) HQ. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the books through monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles for the allocated subsidiaries.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g. Treasury, AP, AR etc.) to ensure alignment on closing schedules and day to day financial activities.
  • Own compliance for specific subsidiaries with regards to external stakeholders (e.g. VAT, Financial Statements, Corporate Tax etc.).
  • Identification of compliance requirements through to delivery of forms/documentation.
  • Have an proactive role as an internal stakeholder for process optimisation and implementation projects.
  • Act as a key point of contact for annual group audit activities. Coordination elements for the audit timeline and the fulfilment of audit requests.
  • Other projects as necessary

 

 

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

General knowledge of accounting systems, Proficient in MS Office Outlook, Word, and Excel; excellent knowledge of standard office practices and procedures; excellent ability to organize and prioritize tasks; excellent verbal and written communication skills to respond to complex customer/employee situations with a high degree of diplomacy and discretion.

Comfortable in a complex global environment with the ability to interact with all levels of employees in a fast-paced, high-growth business, and at times under pressure.

Takes initiative and owns the role; comfortable working without direction if needed.

Though rare, light international travel may be required.
