Job Description

The Americas & APAC Demand Generation Director is a key leadership role in the marketing organization, driving the strategy and execution of the marketing plan for North America, LatAm and Asia Pacific, as well as managing the regional Demand Generation and Business Development teams. The right person for this role is a high energy, hands-on, focused and deliberate leader who can work with business partners across the business and their own team to achieve the business goals of pipeline generation, customer engagement and growth in brand presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for partnering with Sales to drive net new and installed base pipeline through direct and indirect channels.
  • Define and build marketing plan for Americas & APAC, and implement integrated marketing programs, aligned to the global marketing goals and regional business plans.
  • Determine and execute local programs specific to regional requirements and market demands, aligning with business goals and corporate strategy and messaging.
  • Work closely with key strategic regional partners to drive joint campaigns to net new customers, with tight follow-up process and clear KPIs.
  • Build relationships and programs for existing customers in the region to drive engagement, cross-sell and advocacy.
  • Collaborate closely with partners across the business including the respective Regional Sales and Partner teams, Customer Teams, Global Campaigns and & Digital team, and Brand and Communications.
  • Manage the regional marketing demand and business development teams. Manage the regional budget and take accountability for campaign effectiveness and ROI, working closely with marketing operations to track and report on performance of marketing programs and investments, to make data-driven decisions and make adjustments for continual improvement in line with business and marketing goals.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, customer needs and Snow’s value proposition in consort with Product Marketing team to inform the relevance of the demand plan.
  • Build our regional brand presence and be a chief regional evangelist for Snow. Embody the culture of how we operate at Snow and within the marketing team and express that in all the interactions that you have.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in B2B field marketing and demand generation, in the enterprise software industry
  • Experience in managing field marketing teams (plus BDR would be ideal)
  • Strategic thinker but someone who is also hands-on in the delivery of regional plans and programs. Someone who loves rolling up their sleeves, executing and seeing the results of their team’s efforts
  • Strong leadership and best practice experience. Able to coordinate and integrate field marketing activities across the regions. A leader who’s enough in the detail to deliver real value-add to the team and is a strong advocate for our brand
  • Demonstrable record of building effective relationships and programs with customers and partners
  • Dynamic with great interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent writing skills and a high attention to detail. Management reporting expertise.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of the marketing demand funnel
  • International experience with the ability to appreciate cultural differences and adapt programs to different regions
  • Professional Marketing qualification preferred
  • Additional language skills would be ideal
  • Willing to travel as appropriate
