The successful candidate must be willing and able to work in a busy, dynamic environment. They must be able to work as part of both local and global teams to deliver customer excellence and success. Responsibilities:

  • Competitive pricing benchmarking, pricing win/loss analysis, qualitative research (internal and external), price/discount realization analysis, and pricing support for new and existing products
  • Model impact of pricing and discounting decisions on behalf of the business
  • Provide strategic recommendations in partnership with Sales/Finance/Product to drive consensus on pricing/discounting changes
  • Identify new packaging/bundling opportunities or incentive models to drive land and expand strategy in partnership with Product Marketing
  • Responsible for creating and delivering on the results for customer transition initiatives such as perpetual to subscription
  • Build and enhance existing Return on Investment (ROI) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) calculators
  • Develop a 2-year roadmap for pricing and licensing

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum Experience

  • Familiarity with pricing principles, business models, and route-to-market concepts
  • Ability to synthesize large data sets and applying analytic frameworks for insights
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, economics, or other quantitative disciplines
  • An Excel expert with experience working with SQL, relational databases, and common BI tools

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with SaaS business models and B2B channel structures
  • Helpful to have managed through a transition from perpetual to subscription pricing
  • Experience implementing SaaS pricing models such as value-based pricing
