Job Description

Snow is seeking an Information Technology Specialist who will consult with our IT department on any issues that might come up and advise about potential fixes or efficiency controls.

Qualifications

Responsibilties

  • Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves Level 1 and Level 2 problems; computer software and hardware (desktops/laptops/IPad/mobile phones/remote connections) and communicates solutions to end-users.
  • Provisioning of IP phones and Softphones through 3rd party vendor.
  • Provisioning of mobile phones through Snow Mobile Device Manager
  • Document common issues and create knowledgebase entries for internal customer use.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executives, sales teams, creative personnel, and peers.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion and judgment when handling sensitive data, people or situations.
  • Communicate with internal customers, keep them informed of incident progress; notify them of impending changes or agreed outages.
  • Troubleshoot L1 network problems; pass more complex network problems on to IT Manager for escalation to Network Technician.
  • Provides one-on-one end-user problem resolution over the phone for approved software.
  • Diagnoses and resolves end-user network or local printer problems, PC hardware problems and e-mail, Internet, and local-area network access problems.
  • Coordinates timely repair of PC computer equipment and performs minor desktop hardware repair for PC computer equipment and peripherals that are not covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
  • Creation of materials for end-user frequently asked questions (FAQs).
  • Documentation of all service requests within ServiceNow.
  • Image laptops for new hires and keep images up to date with patches and latest software versions.
  • Ability to deal effectively with senior and mid-level executive/management teams in planning global/local video conferencing events.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Any IT certification
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Expert level in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Familiar with a range of software and hardware
  • Previous technical support role
  • Bachelor’s degree
