Job Description

VP Global Channels and Alliances will be responsible for indirect go to market strategy, operations, and revenue across all geographic regions. All partner-based routes to market are in scope, including Systems Integrators, Managed Service Providers, Technology Alliance Partners, OEMs and VAR’s. She/he will have a growing team focused on partner strategy and the execution of programs to grow the partner network and impact. They are expected to work cross functionally and collaborate with the sales, marketing, services, and training/enablement teams to build a fully integrated channel partner ecosystem. 

  • Building and operating a channel function in Europe, Americas and APAC, building on/adapting the existing channel structure as necessary;
  • Defining and aligning channel partner/sales strategies and programs to maximize reseller customer impact and revenue performance;
  • Transformation of/hiring, enabling and scaling a high-performance global channel team. Providing training in solution selling frameworks as required;
  • Leading collaboration with cross functional teams at all levels from individual contributors to executives;
  • Accountable for agreed growth targets directly attributable to the partner program.

Qualifications

  • Significant leadership experience within the B2B software/cloud platform landscape;
  • Proven track record of growing a business in a competitive landscape ($100m business growing to $1B);
  • History of documented revenue growth in complex business environments directly attributable to the partner program;
  • Intimate understanding of the broad software ecosystem and modern Cloud strategies around Software Development architectures, SaaS, etc.;
  • Deep experience of using data to make and support decisions at all levels.
  • Previous experience in software asset management industry is desired

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent;
  • MBA highly advantageous.
