Job Description

The core responsibility will be to work in alignment with the sales team and the account management team to articulate and demonstrate Snows core technology and capability with direct customers and the partner community.

As part of the Pre Sales team, you will provide thought leadership, business guidance and technical capability throughout the sales process in order to deliver excellence in presentations, evaluations, reviews or with training and documentation. As Snow Software is an organisation that is constantly evolving with new technologies and processes, you must be adaptable and flexible to learn new capabilities.

The role expects you to be able to work cross functionally and collaborate with the sales, marketing, partner, customer success, services, and training/enablement teams to support the needs of the customer and the needs of the business. 

  • To work with the sales team to collaboratively to understand business and technical solutions of the prospect/customer and to design and deliver these agreed needs in the form of presentation, technical evaluation, demonstration, whiteboard etc.
  • To be able to present confidently and gain credibility across all key stakeholders.
  • To proactively look at ways of supporting the Pre Sales team in providing thought leadership, technical expertise, updates, etc
  • Be able to document key solution areas and provide updates on any software developments.
  • Be able to demonstrate thought leadership and a key desire to improve relationships both internally and externally to support the needs of the business

Qualifications

  • Strong Pre Sales Experience
  • Core knowledge around Cloud strategies, SaaS, IaaS etc.;
  • Strong interest in Software Asset Management and the role of the core data that is provided to business operations such as IT Service Management. This also includes an understanding of licencing terminology
  • Proven ability to architect solutions and document these solutions in the most appropriate manner for the customer.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Understanding of Service Management or ITIL (nice to have)
  • Security awareness (nice to have)

Key Performance Indicators

  • Direct contribution in £ to closed won deals
  • Number of successfully completed POCs with associated closed won deals
  • Contribution to the development of team including cross training, webinars, documentation, white papers and presentation material
