Job Description

We are looking for an HR superhero who is sociable and service minded, while also comfortable applying a systematic approach with fantastic attention to detail. This role will be supporting HR Operations for the APAC region – primarily Australia, Singapore and India. We want someone that is self-motivated and can work independently on the tasks outlined below. The right person will have at least 5-8 years’ experience in similar roles as a site HR Manager, HR Generalist or Sr HR Operations Analyst. The People & Culture Manager will report to the Director of People & Culture for the APAC region.

  • Help implement the people strategy to meet business requirements 
  • Support line management to ensure effective management of their people 
  • Actively contribute to the development of HR global/ policies, processes and procedures and be responsible for the implementation in the region 
  • Ensure the delivery of efficient and accurate HR services including recruitment, onboarding, HR systems and processing.
  • Processing new hire paperwork and background checks
  • Maintaining and auditing employee files
  • Acting as the main point of contact for employee HR inquiries
  • Supporting improvement and maintenance of HR policies, employee handbook, and other publications
  • Managing absence management time tracking
  • Responding to employment verifications
  • Coordinating benefits plans as a primary point of contact with providers; including plan interpretation, regulatory compliance etc.
  • Help with special culture and engagement projects as needed.

Required skills and expertise 

  • Familiar with the HR practices and policies in both Singapore and Australia is required 
  • 5-8 years’ experience in similar roles as a site HR Manager, HR Generalist or Sr HR Operations Specialist
  • Experience with various HRIS systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business or any similar combination of education and experience in a fast-growing, international environment dealing with people management issues 
  • Demonstrated agility in a constantly changing environment and ability to cultivate strong relationships globally 
  • Experience at a startup or global software company
  • Hands-on mentality 
  • Strong analytical and organization skills 
  • Capable and confident communicator with very strong personal presence
