Job Description

As a application support specialist you will collaborate closely with your team to provide excellent support to our customers. Your role will include supporting cases not only related to our products, but complex problem solving concerning everything in the customer´s environment from clients to network and servers. 

You will partly work with reproducing issues reported by customers in lab environment and work with escalation and development engineering teams to provide a workaround or resolution. You will ensure that client expectations are properly managed, and that technical issues are resolved to the client's satisfaction in a timely manner.

We provide internal training for you to continuously develop and maintain your troubleshooting skills on all Snow Software’s products and technical knowledge in industry standard based technologies. Knowledge sharing is part of our everyday activities, including the KCS process (Knowledge centered services), onboarding, mentorship and training your peers. 

Qualifications

  • Great troubleshooting skills regarding client and server technologies.
  • Experience from working with advanced application support or technical B2B support.
  • Strong knowledge in one or more of the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows, Linux, Unix, and OS X.
  • Experience of delivering support for mixed IT environments and databases (MS SQL based applications).
  • It’s an advantage if you are familiar with PowerShell, IIS and command prompt.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken. Swedish is a plus.
