Job Description

Snow’s Product Marketing team brings new products to market, owns strategic pricing, creates compelling product messaging and helps tell our product story through collateral such as E-books, whitepapers, blogs, videos, and more. Success in role is measured by how well Snow delivers a compelling and consistent face to our customers and by how our customers react and engage with the messages we deliver. 
 

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to be the co-owner of their product's success with Product Management and to build the needed content and Go-to-Market plan with Demand Generation. The ideal candidate embraces product ownership - including development of revenue producing sales plays - and finds it easy to translate technical concepts into easy-to-consume content for readers, is open to hosting webinars/podcasts and serving as a technical Subject Matter Expert. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ownership of product responsibilities including monitoring of product performance, identification of areas for product growth, launch of new products, creation/regular editing of messaging to align product message to overall brand
  • Deeply understand Snow's target customer and market via market influencers, Analyst organizations, Sales, Product, Customer and Non-customer engagements
  • Promote new product launches and identify new ways to drive engagement for existing product lines
  • Partnership with Product Management to understand product positioning and value proposition to determine what changes are required to improve product performance
  • Work with Sales Enablement through strategy creation and content delivery to build content and training plans to help increase the Field's understanding of our current and upcoming products
  • Team with Demand Generation to design content – including messaging, podcasts, eBooks, videos, and webcasts – that speaks to the IT Director and Software Asset Manager and generates strong traction within our demand generation channels
  • Translate technical concepts and opportunities into content-focused campaigns that help accelerate Snow’s pipeline
  • Work closely across Product Marketing and Product Management to identify opportunities to drive Sales Plays within Snow’s existing customer base
  • Meet regularly with Snow customers and translate insights gleaned into messaging, new content and feedback loops into the product development process

Qualifications

LOCATION: AUSTIN, TEXAS | BRACKNELL, UK | STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN

NEED TO HAVE

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree (Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science)
  • 10+ years’ experience with at 4+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Technical Sales or Technical Support
  • Experience transforming complex topics into digestible concepts that differentiate our products
  • Excellent writing skills - a passion for storytelling and digital content is a plus 
  • Experience developing product marketing campaigns (messaging, whitepapers, eBooks, application notes, videos, and webcasts)


NICE TO HAVE

  • MBA is a plus
  • Strategic pricing ownership
  • SaaS or IaaS background preferred but not required
  • B2B Marketing experience
