Job Description

Snow Software in the Americas (US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico) is in high growth mode.  We anticipate significant growth in our Americas team over the next 3 years.  That’s why we are looking for an outstanding people person to be part of driving that growth together with the leadership team and global HR.  
Your mission is to help our people be the best that they can be. You are responsible for framing how we attract, retain, reward, and develop members of the Snow Tribe.  You will report to our Chief People & Culture Officer.


As a member of the leadership team for the Americas you will need to understand every aspect of the business and be a thought leader regarding People and Culture. It is your responsibility to create the end-to-end People Strategy that will support members of the Snow Tribe in delivering brilliance.


You are the champion of our Snow Spirit (our culture) and partner with leadership to help build amazing teams through effective consultation, process improving and data-based decision making. Whether it’s how you coach your colleagues on how to lead their teams, cultivate talent, navigate and resolve employee relations issues, or manage programs that help develop our employees, you are focused on putting them first, and being as transparent as possible to help the Snow Tribe understand how people decisions get made.


As a core part of the role, you will be rolling out programs to support people managers and employees including: talent attraction, development, retention, engagement, performance management, employee relations, compliance, total rewards, workforce planning, organizational design, recognition programs, strategic development, and communications.

You will a part global HR team that consists of HR Business Partners and Centers of Expertise and you will have a People & Culture Operations Manager reporting to you.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
•    Culture - Drive and strengthen our culture, The Snow Spirit. We are passionate about our customers, products and equally passionate about our Spirit, the culture that makes us unique.
o    Developing our people, both on an individual and team level
o    Be an ambassador of diversity, inclusion, and culture
•    Regional leadership team
o    Managing HR operational responsibilities for the Americas
o    Drive management team to great team work and take ownership of employee communication for change management
•    Talent Management - Attracting and Retaining Top Talent, this includes driving employee engagement, making Snow in the Americas an amazing place to work, and improving employee retention.
o    Own the process, manage expectations, measurement performance
o    Drive problem solving by balancing expertise/experience with cultural sensitivity
o    Cultivate how people collaborate
•    Workplace Management:
o    Managing headcount and employment costs with your business leaders
o    Delivering robust and ambitious workforce management plans
o    Attracting & selecting the right people for our organization now and the future 
o    Provide insightful data to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions.
•    Employee Relations Management:
o    Advise leaders on people situations 
o    Drive Employee Engagement
o    Compliance throughout the Americas

Qualifications

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU
NEED TO HAVE:

•    You’ve done it before and you’ve done it well! Driving HR in a fast-paced, high-growth environment in the tech sector resulting in employees being successful. A proven track record of working successfully across global teams and stakeholders
•    A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Law, Business or related field with minimum 8 years of successful, hands-on HR experience, both operational and strategic
•    Led a company through high-grow without losing the culture and quality of work
•    A combination of HR experience in the following areas: organizational design, succession planning, performance management, diversity and inclusion, business consulting, compensation and rewards, recognition programs, culture keeper, employee engagement, coaching and development, talent management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition, data analysis, and employee relations.
•    Commercial know how. You will be curious about the business and make decisions that support our business strategy.
•    Knowledge of current and pending US employment legislation; additional knowledge of some Latin American countries an advantage
•    Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels and in different countries.
