Job Description

Part of the primary role for Presales Consultant is to enable the sales team to successfully deliver Snow technology effectively and tailored to the customers’ business needs. You are based in DACH region and are able to work across the DACH region, preferably South Germany and Austria.

As part of the Presales team, it is your responsibility to become a technical and license evangelist in numerous areas of the business, this may include key vendors such as Microsoft, SAP, Adobe, IBM and Oracle. Snow Software is a constantly evolving organization, with new technologies and processes.  Because of this, the role may involve creating documentation for new products, presentations and training as well as enablement of partners and other roles in inside Snow.

What you’ll be doing

·         Evaluating the customers’ business requirements together with the sales team and map Snow’s solutions to determine how to solve these business requirements

·         Demonstrate Snow Software’s products at an expert level

·         Improve Sales demonstrations based on new or existing functionality

·         Working with the Sales team to manage bids and compose responses to RFI/RFP/RFQ/tenders directly to customers and through partners 

·         Conduct PoC/PoV with Snow products to help the customers understand how Snow’s solutions solve their business requirements

·         Technology enthusiast, keen to learn and demonstrate new technologies

·         Communicate complex license mechanics and solutions in verbal and written form

·         Bring in the relevant personnel in prospect meetings at the most opportune time to stress a point/capability

·         Coordinate with other Technical Sales Managers in defining and developing collaterals that are necessary to win deals 

·         Keeping up to date on technology in the SAM Industry

·         Public speaking and events

·         If desired, being a globally recognized expert for Snow technology

Qualifications

·         Able to travel (~2-3 days per week) in DACH region for customer and partner meetings

·         2+ years' Software Asset Management experience

·         3+ years' experience in Presales

·         Proven understanding of value selling, strong sales orientation

·         Proven track record of technical and solution selling into both new accounts and existing accounts

·         Technical and business knowledge of ITIL

·         Understanding the technical requirements of installing a SAM Solution (ideally Snow License Manager)

·         Understanding of Software Asset Management tools

·         Verbal, written and high presentation skills

·         Fluent in both written and spoken English (corporate language) and professional working proficiency in German as territory local language

·         Excellent IT skills around client and server technologies

·         Understanding of at least one or more vendor license rules:

o    Microsoft, IBM, SAP, Oracle, VMware, Adobe

·         Understanding licensing terminology including CORE/CPU/USER/DEVICE/VIRTULISATION
