Position Summary

The Director, Global Digital Marketing is a critical role on Snow's global marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and data-driven international senior digital marketing manager to both create and execute a market-leading digital estate. Reporting directly to VP of Global Demand Generation, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the digital strategy, budget, global and local execution of digital marketing and resourcing. This is a management position, with a team of four marketing professionals responsible for; Website, Paid Search and Social Media.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the creation and successful execution of Digital Marketing, as part of a performance marketing team, with a measurable effect on ROI and experience standing up and maintaining a successful website as a revenue driver. The job may be based in any of our global offices, but we have a strong preference for Bracknell, UK or Austin, Texas, US. 

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of inbound marketing tactics to support requirements from global demand generation, to engage target audiences (from C-Suite to Manager/Practitioner) across all solution portfolio
     
  • Build and operate a modern digital engine taking advantage of modern digital technologies, from large reach platforms (e.g. LNKD), to online audience management and online advertising.
     
  • Development of global search marketing strategy and programs, appropriate to establishing engagement and conversion in buyer audiences
     
  • Work with stakeholders including; product management, product marketing, demand generation, partner marketing, events and PR to deliver exceptional digital presence
     
  • Establish strong working relationships with regional marketing teams to ensure timely execution of digital tactics and implementation of best practice
     
  • Extend the reach of demand generation and PR to elevate Snow’s thought leadership position
     
  • Reviewer of content and website landing pages, providing close oversight of web best practices, brand adherence, and communications effectiveness
     
  • Work closely with Interim CMO and Product Marketing on the establishment, documentation, management, and improvement of content creation and content marketing 
    Champion and protect the continuity, value and integrity of the Snow brand

 

Competencies and Skills

  • A proven track record in B2B technology or SaaS marketing in a global software company
     
  • Proven track record in and strong understanding of multiple forms of digital marketing   activities, including PPC, social media, SEO and delivering pipeline impact and ROI
     
  • Proven record of bringing together different digital technologies, from audience management, intent data, experience and advertising solutions to drive results.
     
  • Track record in building and maintaining a B2B website as a revenue driver and experience with web application development cycles
     
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, both local and remote, overseeing project workflow and requests from various business units. Experienced in team development with the ability to be more hands-on/directive or light touch as required 
     
  • Able to manage creatives, technical personnel, and marketing professionals. Ability to speak the industry specific “language” of each group, and to assist them in goal setting and measuring success.
     
  • Ability to influence others to improve understanding of digital trends and best practice
     
  • Ability to understand global cultures and how to adapt marketing to different regions
     
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
     
  • Strong focus on optimization of digital estate and continual improvement
     
  • Natural ability to foster a positive, collaborative working environment that enables the team to effectively balance the need for strategic planning with efficient execution
     
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of what needs to be done and effective time management to meet tight deadlines
     
  • Experience using marketing tools, e.g.; Drupal, Hootsuite, Jive, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Marketo and Qlik
     
  • Experience managing and deploying A/B testing on PPC, landing pages, and website calls-to-action, interpreting findings and informing best practices for improvement
     
  • Confident management of asset sharing platforms or Digital Asset Management systems for file sharing and versioning of materials.
     
  • Analytical mindset, confident in drawing performance data from multiple tactics and sources, interpreting and forecasting trends and surfacing insight and actionable intelligence that can be acted upon by global marketing leadership.
     
  • Confident of your own abilities but humble in outlook
    Managing relationships with third-party vendors as appropriate
