About Smoobu

Smoobu (www.smoobu.com) is a Berlin-based software-as-a-service company. We develop and distribute innovative vacation accommodation management software. Our goal is to make short-term rentals more profitable and efficient for our customers. We already help customers in 135 countries manage over 70,000 of their properties. To further strengthen our core market in the German-speaking region, we are looking for motivated colleagues to help us make Smoobu even more successful. You will meet international colleagues from over 12 nations. Smoobu is a 100% owned subsidiary of HomeToGo.

Your future contribution 

As a working student in the Sales & Service team, you will support the team in the daily business. That means you will be in direct customer contact, mainly via email and chat, in exceptional cases via phone. You will bring a human component to our product and solve our customers' challenges through your consultative approach. Personal contact with our customers is very important to us. With your passion for exceptional service, we make our superior business development team even better!

Your role in the team

• You shape your daily work based on the needs of our customers, advising them on new processes, products or offerings to the best of your knowledge
• You provide outstanding service through various channels and help our customers find their individual, optimal use of Smoobu
• You solve customer problems in a targeted and fast way and thus ensure an optimal "sales experience" for our test users
• You contribute with your experience to the expansion of our internal and external "knowledge base" where we collect training material for customers as well as for our own team.

• German is your native language and you are fluent in English
• You enjoy interacting with people and preferably have experience in a customer facing role
• You are comfortable helping our customers interact with our product
• You are a natural "people person" and have excellent communication skills
• You have a positive nature, enjoy your work and fit in well with our team!
• You can ensure regular presence in our office in Prenzlauer Berg (coordinated remote work is of course possible)
