Job Description

  • Lead global Gas Seal Support System (GSS) Engineering organization across pre-order and post-order activities
  • Own end-to-end engineering delivery from RFQ to final documentation.
  • Drive engineering excellence, productivity, and business growth through standardization, innovation, and team development
  • Lead multiple teams of Managers / Supervisors / Team Leaders for Dry Gas Seal Support System Engineering.
  • Accountable for overall Engineering KPIs, focusing on On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Quality metrics.
  • Own complete engineering lifecycle: RFQ → design → deliverables → customer approval → manufacturing release.
  • Develop, coach, and grow engineering teams; build strong capability and succession pipeline.
  • Align with internal stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Project, Procurement) on service levels and priorities.
  • Drive engineering standardization, automation, and global best practice deployment.
  • Manage global engineering tools (I-Project or others) and ensure adoption.
  • Lead capacity planning, workload distribution, and project scheduling.
  • Ensure timely submission of engineering deliverables (drawings, datasheets, documentation).
  • Collaborate with regions on key customer engagements and technical alignment.
  • Support product development, innovation, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement, KPI achievement, and Priority Action List (PAL) execution.
  • Lead a teams of Engineers and/or Supervisors for Dry Gas Seal Support System Pre/Post Order Engineering.
  • GSS Subject Matter Expert
  • Support site audit if necessary
  • Key Accountability:
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications in pre- and post-order engineering.
  • Deliver engineering outputs on time with high quality.
  • Maintain dashboards, reporting, and performance tracking.
  • Drive coordination across stakeholders for seamless execution.
  • Improve engineering processes and resolve customer issues.
  • Support standardization, R&D, NPD, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, ISO, and EHS requirements.

Key Metrics:

  • On-Time Delivery (OTD) of engineering deliverables.
  • Quality performance (First Time Right, minimal deviations).
  • Productivity and cycle time improvements.
  • Team capability development and engagement.
  • Execution of strategic and improvement initiatives

Reporting:

  • Reports to: Director Engineering – GSS, Filtration & Couplings
  • Global team of engineering managers, supervisors, and engineers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Instrumentation Engineering.20+ years engineering experience with at least 5+ years in leadership roles.Strong expertise in gas seal systems and process industries (oil & gas, chemical, pharma, turbomachinery).Strong understanding of engineering processes, business drivers, and industry standards.Proven leadership and team management capability.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage global teams and work in a multi-region environment.

Desirable Experience

  • Good Knowledge of API 614 & 692 (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of instrumentation and system integration.
  • Familiarity with engineering tools / project management systems.
  • Knowledge of Dry gas seal panel & Its component and instrumentation.
