Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assembles PTFE hose products, partially or completely, working at a bench
- Perform bench and machine operations such as hose preparation and assembly of low, medium and high pressure PTFE hose for any type of Commercial hose application.
- Read and interpret complicated blueprints, sketches or verbal instructions of PTFE assemblies.
- Determine from blueprints and layout proper cut lengths, finish lengths and proper sequence of assembly and swagging and crimping.
- Exercise good judgment in choice of correct tooling to produce desired finished products.
- Keep work area and tooling clean and orderly.
- Must feel comfortable working in a team environment.
- Know how to prioritize work and react to special situations that arise.
- Perform job in a safe and proper manner.
- Required to use independent judgment when performing and planning to perform his/her tasks.
- Perform other related duties that are required by Management.
- Be able to demonstrate correct methods of manufacturing in the production area to employees and develop standard work procedures.
- Assist in the training of new employees in the classification.
- Guide and assist employees when management is not available.
- Contact key personnel as necessary.
- Know how to prioritize work and react to special situations that arise.
- Required to use independent judgment when performing and planning to perform his/her tasks.
- Help prioritize and plan work load in the department to run more efficiently.
- Assist with process improvements and process efficiency.
- Assist engineers with process and quality issues
Qualifications
Must have at least 1 year of Teflon Experience.
